# Agent sign-up test

Prove that you own the site of your developer tool. An agent tries to sign up, sign in again and get to your API key or quick start, with no help. The test is free, and the report is private.

## What the agent does

1. It opens your site in a browser that Rondar runs. It has no access to your code.

2. It signs up with a Rondar test email address. Nobody helps it.

3. It reads the code or the link in the verification mail, and uses it.

4. It signs out and signs in again.

5. It tries to get to the page with an API key or the quick start.

6. You get a report with each step, the screenshots and the place where it stopped.

The report gives one of these causes when the agent stops:

- Captcha

- Second factor

- OAuth-only sign-in

- Mail never arrived

- Key behind a sales call

- Other

## Limits

Rondar tests a site only after you prove that you own it, with a meta tag or a DNS record.

The agent does not buy anything and does not enter a card. It does not try to get past a captcha or a second factor. It stays on your site.

Each domain gets one test in a week, and a run stops after 20 minutes. Rondar does not try a stopped run again. A test can wait for a place, because Rondar runs a limited number of tests each day.

The report gives no score, and it does not compare your tool with other tools.

After the report, Rondar closes its record of the test account and does not use the account again. The report gives the address of the account, so you can remove it from your site.

The report is private until you publish it. A published report gets a dated badge and a place in the [gallery](/agent-signup/gallery). You can take it back at any time.
