# Agent instructions

Set the guidance agents receive for new work.

## Edit shared instructions

Account AGENTS.md applies to new agent invocations. Rondar currently uses its saved instruction layer.

## Set each mode

Regular and Plan can have separate instructions. Project settings can add instructions for either mode.

## Review when changes apply

An active turn keeps the configuration it started with. New invocations receive the updated instructions.

## Know the source

Repository-owned AGENTS.md and other agent configuration files are currently excluded from session launches.
