# Connect a repository

Bring a Git project into its own Rondar workspace.

1

## Choose a source

Select a GitHub repository, enter its URL manually, or create a project from scratch.

2

## Authorize private access

Connect a GitHub account with repository access in Settings → Connections. An organization may require additional authorization.

3

## Watch setup

Rondar clones the repository and prepares its workspace. Setup duration depends on the project and dependencies; inspect the project if setup fails.

4

## Start work

Once the project is ready, create a session. Project setup does not start or verify a preview server.
