# Self-host setup

Finish the first-run configuration of a Rondar installation.

1

## Create the administrator

The first-run wizard creates the installation administrator.

2

## Configure GitHub OAuth

Set the GitHub client ID and secret, and register the public callback URL ending in /auth/github/callback.

3

## Set the public URL

Use GITHUB_REDIRECT_URI for an explicit callback or RONDAR_URL for the public base URL, then restart.

4

## Troubleshoot setup

Check server logs and confirm the public URL matches the registered callback. Keep credentials out of support requests.
