Notifications

Know when a session needs you, without watching it.

Updated October 13, 2026

1

Know what Rondar tells you

Rondar sends an alert when a session completes, when it fails, when it needs your answer, when a pull request opens and when a release ships. You start the work, do something else, and come back when the alert arrives.

2

Turn alerts on

Open Settings → Notifications and set Send alerts to on. Then choose the Channel:

  • Auto tries a browser push first and uses your account email if no push is possible.
  • Browser push sends the alert to the browsers where you enabled it.
  • Email sends the alert to your account email.
3

Enable alerts in the browser

A browser push needs your permission in each browser. On the same page, under Browser alerts on this device, select Enable and accept the question of the browser. Do this again on each computer or phone that you use.

Select Send test notification to make sure that the alert arrives.

4

Install Rondar on a phone

You can add Rondar to the home screen of a phone from the menu of the browser. It then opens as its own app, and browser alerts arrive on the phone when you enabled them there.

5

Set alerts for one project

A project can have its own setting under Settings → General → Session notifications of the project. Use it to silence a project with many small sessions, or to get alerts only for the project that is important now.

6

Read earlier alerts

The bell in the workspace opens the list of your notifications. Each one opens the page that it is about.
