Automate website care plans with agents

Keep many client sites up to date with coding agents, and send each client a monthly report of the work.

Updated November 5, 2026

1

Decide what the care plan includes

Write down the work that the care plan of a client includes. For example: package updates, repairs of failed checks, small fixes that Sentinel finds, and a daily check of the live site.

Write down what it does not include too. Rondar does not send invoices, it does not monitor uptime and it does not give your client an account.

2

Connect each client site

Connect the repository of each client site as one project. Rondar sets up each project in its own isolated workspace. See /docs/connecting-a-repo.

Use one project for each site. A care report is for one project and one month.

3

Let Sentinel find the work

Sentinel scans the project on a schedule. It suggests work, for example a broken page, a missing label or an old package.

Each suggestion waits for you. Sentinel does not start work by itself. You approve a suggestion, and it becomes a session.

4

Let a coding agent do the work

A session runs a coding agent in the workspace of the project. The agent makes the change and opens a pull request. See /docs/sessions.

When a check of a pull request fails, Rondar can start a session that repairs it.

5

Review and merge

Open the pull request, read the diff and look at the preview. Merge it only when you agree with the change. See /docs/pull-requests.

You keep the decision. An agent does not merge a change for you.

6

Check the live site each day

Secret shopper tries a journey on the live site each day, as a new customer. Write each journey in one sentence, for example "A new visitor sends a question with the contact form".

Add the journeys on the Shopper page of the project settings. Each run gives a result: passed, failed or blocked.

7

Send the monthly care report

At the start of a month, open the General page of the project settings and find Care reports.

  1. Pick the month.
  2. Write the name of your agency.
  3. Add the logo of your agency, if you want. Use a PNG, JPEG or WebP image of at most 200 KB.
  4. Click Make report.
  5. Click Copy link and send the link to your client.

The report shows the checks that ran, what Sentinel found, the pull requests that were merged, the repairs and the newest Secret shopper result. Its footer says that the site was maintained with Rondar.

The client opens the link with no account. The link is unlisted. Search engines do not list it.

8

Update or stop a report

The report is a copy of the month when you make it. It does not change after that. To update it, make the report for the same month again. The link stays the same.

To stop a link, click Turn off link. The client can then no longer open the report. If you make the report for that month again, it gets a new link.

9

What the report does not show

The report shows only what Rondar recorded for the project. When a source recorded nothing in the month, the report says "Nothing recorded this month". It does not show a number that the project did not record.

The report does not show the conversation of a session, the code or the diff. Each merged pull request has one line: the name of its session.

Care reports and Secret shopper are new. If you do not see them in the settings of your project, they are not on for your account yet.
